1959年生まれ。名古屋学院大学外国語学部教授。広島大学大学院教育学研究科教科教育学専攻博士課程後期課程中途退学。教育学修士。研究分野は英語教育学（コンピュータ・ネットワークを利用した外国語教育、小学校英語教育、英語教育におけるリスニング、教員養成）。
